Pella Cooperative Electric Association has applied for Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) funding through Iowa Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (HSMED).
The Cooperative is seeking proposals for experienced engineering firms (Engineer) with background in the design of electrical utility structures to support the construction of an electrical distribution line project to be funded under the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and Iowa Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management Section (HSEMD) 404 hazard mitigation program, specifically HMGP-DR-4732-IA-001. The project consists of 1.85 miles of three-phase reconstruction.
The Cooperative will receive proposals up to 1:00 p.m. local time, November 22, 2024. There will be a bid opening at that time at the Cooperative’s office, 2615 Washington Street, Pella, IA 50219.
